Dwayne Pretorius Parts Ways With CSK
Pretorius took to social media to share his emotions, stating, “Thank you CSK. I would like to thank all the management, coaches, players, and fans for my time at CSK it was an awesome experience. All the best for season 2024.”
The South African all-rounder played a crucial role for CSK in various matches, contributing both with the bat and ball. The Chennai-based franchise bought him for his base price of INR 50 lakhs at the IPL 2022 mega auction. He was then retained for the next season of the league earlier this year. In the two editions, Pretorius played seven games for CSK, scoring 44 runs and claiming six wickets.

CSK Fans thank Pretorius for his Services
CSK fans reciprocated the sentiment, thanking Pretorius for his valuable contributions and wishing him the best in his future endeavors. The announcement garnered an outpouring of support and messages from fans across the globe.
“Yellove You Forever Preto,” wrote one of the fans.
“We miss you Pretorius & hanlu,” commented the other.
“Thank you Pretorius, we will miss you but you’re our yellow army always,” remarked the CSK fan army.
Pretorius, known for his dynamic style of play, had already announced his retirement from international cricket in January this year.
