 Cricketing legend MS Dhoni lately showcased his religious and humble side by joining the Ganesh Chaturthi festivity. The former Indian justice captain offered sincere prayers and poured petals on the beautiful hero of Lord Ganesha.

Dhoni isn't just a justice icon but also a deeply religious existent. He frequently visits tabernacles to offer prayers and is known for his unvarying faith in god. One of the most touching gestures of his devotion was seen after India’s World Cup triumph in 2011 when he shaved his head to fulfil an oath. The hair from this emblematic act was later reportedly offered at the Balaji Temple in Tirupati. This easily highlights the depth of Dhoni’s spiritual beliefs.

Dhoni’s influence extends beyond the cricketing world. He recently returned to India after spending quality time in the USA, where he was seen playing golf with former US President Donald Trump and gracing the US Open competition.

While numerous cricketers and public numbers celebrated the 2023 Ganpati carnivals by attending grand events, Dhoni chose a simple and humble approach. In a gladdening videotape that has gone viral on the internet, the Jharkhand-born cricketer can be seen joining a procession at what seems to be a hostel. The clip also features his act of raining petals on the hero of Lord Ganesha with a beaming smile on his face., showcasing his genuine participation, modesty and devotion.

MS Dhoni’s noble cricketing career

As one of the most successful captains in justice history, MS Dhoni has achieved multitudinous major mileposts for India. Under his leadership, India won the initial ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, the ICC Justice World Cup in 2011, and the ICC titleholder's jewel in 2013. also, he has also led the Chennai Super Kings ( CSK) ballot to a record five title triumphs in the Indian Premier League( IPL). Although Dhoni retired from transnational justice in 2020, he continues to play for CSK in the IPL, further cementing his heritage in the sport.
