“They’re not Going to Declare”: Kevin Pietersen Predicts Australia’s Strategy in Lord’s Test

Former England batter Kevin Pietersen has participated in his perceptivity on the current state of the alternate Ashes Test at Lord’s, where Australia has established a commanding position. Despite losing out incentive Nathan Lyon to a shin strain, the excursionists hold a substantial lead of 221 runs, leaving England with a gruelling task ahead in the remaining days of the match.

Pietersen believed that Australia will maintain their dominance and continue its aggressive fur approach on Day 4, further adding to England’s straits. Speaking on Sky Sports Cricket, he expressed, “ They won’t give England a whiff. They’re not going to declare and say, ‘ Hey England, let’s see how stalwart you are. ’ They just won’t do it, especially with an incentive down. ”

Pietersen emphasized the advantage of limited overs in bowling, stating, “ If you club just 70- 75 overs, there’s no fast bowler in the world in the opposition who thinks it’s a bad thing. It’s like brushing three spells and about 15 overs overall. ”

Khawaja’s harmonious fur performances caught Pietersen’s attention, and he confided the Aussie nature for his unwavering focus and control, comparing him to Steve Smith.

He has looked nearly as in complete control as Steve Smith was history come to get me because I'm not gon na get you,' ” added Pietersen.

At the end of Day 3, Khawaja remained unbeaten on 58, icing that Australia maintain their advantage heading into the fourth day. He's accompanied by first-innings centurion Smith( 6 *) at the crinkle, further bolstering Australia’s prospects.
