Sunil Chhetri: ‘I don’t know when will be my last game for India’

India commander and unpredictable striker Sunil Chhetri on Friday played down the addresses about his withdrawal saying he has not put any timeline for himself to bid farewell to the game.

Chhetri is 38 but still continues to be at the forefront of the Indian attack, substantiated by the five pretensions he netted in the ongoing SAFF Championship from three matches.

It derives from the fact that I've no way had long-term targets, I suppose about the coming match, the coming 10 days. It( withdrawal) may come at a day when presumably I don’t want to, as there are a lot of effects, and I'll be done. Until also, I noway suppose about it, ” Chhetri said on the dusk of India’s semifinal against Lebanon.

Chhetri, the alternate-loftiest thing- arranger from Asia with 91 pretensions, said he has set some parameters to determine about hanging his thrills.

These are some of the labels that will tell me whether I'm good for this platoon or not. The day I see that it isn't there, I'm done, I'm gone because there isn't any other provocation for me to play.

The day I'm finished with my petrol or diesel or electric or whatever I'm done, ” said Chhetri.

Chhetri said Lebanon are a tough side and taking them for granted might boomerang. He didn't read too much into India’s 2- 0 palm over Lebanon in the recent Intercontinental Cup final.

Lebanon is a tough side. We've formerly played them doubly. I’m enough sure they have the same feeling about us and trying to stay calm. We did our stylish to recoup after so numerous games in such a short time, ” said Chhetri.

India’s adjunct trainer Mahesh Gawli said the platoon is motivated and ready for the big test against Lebanon.
