RCB Head  Coach Sanjay Bangar Has Urged The Fans  to be Patient With  All the Young Players  in The Pack

RCB trainer Sanjay Bangar spoke about the progress of Indian players

• Bangar said that Mahipal Lomror had done well in limited openings

• RCB lost Rajat Patidar for the season due to an injury

By India Today Sports office Royal contenders Bangalore trainer Sanjay Bangar has regretted the lack of a good quality Indian middle-order batter in their line-up after their loss against Mumbai Indians on Tuesday, 9 May. RCB slipped to the 7th position in the league table after their loss against Mumbai and took a major megahit to their Net Run Rate. Bangalore trainer Bangar said at the post-match press conference that his side was short by at least 10 runs on the day. Speaking about the difference in quality in their top three and the rest of the fur line-up, Bangar said that not having Rajat Patidar in the platoon has really hurt them this season.

" Not having Rajat Patidar hurt us, we were given a suggestion that Patidar will play after 3- 4 games," Bangar said after the loss against Mumbai Indians.

Patidar blazoned himself in the 2022 season, hitting a century in the playoffs against Lucknow Super Titans. Bangar said that he'd hoped one of the youngish players would be suitable to fill the gap this season but that has not happed so far.

Bangar said that neither Anuj Rawat nor Shahbaz Ahmed has progressed well this season.
“ They aren't progressing at a veritably good rate. Our youngish batter Mahipal Lomror has been the bone who has taken his chances well but Anuj Rawat and Shahbaz Ahmed whenever they've gotten those openings, unfortunately, they haven’t been suitable to capitalise on it, ” he said during the post-match donation.

Still, the trainer added that one needs to be patient with youthful players, who have the capability to pay their faith back if the ballot backed them to the bow.

“ But that’s the literacy you have to be patient with the youngish players, it takes time and anticipate that they will take their openings and churn out match-winning performances for the platoon, ” Bangar talked about handling players in a ballot.

" Look at KKR, they were patient with Rinku Singh for the last 3- 4 times and now they're reaping the prices for it," Bangar concluded.
