The third week of May 2023 marked the end of the Indian Premier League’s group stage, with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) facing each other in the final league stage institution of the ongoing event on Sunday( May 21). especially, the week turned out to be an important bone for both observers and the league organisers as it gave them their four qualifiers.
Although the three spots were sealed in the first half of the last week, the fourth position was verified after the result of the RCB versus GT match. The Bangalore- grounded platoon lost the game against Gujarat and was excluded from the IPL 2023. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians( MI) were advantaged from RCB’s defeat and ended the group stage in the fourth spot.
Despite the elimination, RCB commander Faf du Plessis still leads the Orange Cap map with the most runs. still, Shubman Gill of GT is just 50 runs behind the Bangalore star, and the former still has two or three matches to play in the playoffs. On the other hand, the bowling list is dominated by GT leader Mohammed Shami.
